At ProjectorsOK we have compared two top selling projectors, the Optoma HD25e and the Epson TW5200.
Both projectors are High Definition Full HD, perfect for home cinema or presentations where we need a high level of detail. The Epson is a LCD with a contrast of 15,000 to 1 while the Optoma is a DLP with a contrast of 20,000 to 1.
However, the projected image is equally impressive in both cases. The Optoma has a brightness of 2,800 lumens while the Epson has 2,000 lumens, and although there is little difference, the Optoma is the more appropriate option for rooms with more light.
Although both projectors have similar lenses, the lense of the Epson allows for a larger image to be projected from a shorter distance. As you can see, if we place the two projectors from the same distance, the Epson projects a larger image.
Moreover, the Epson has vertical and horizontal image correction, which permits us to project diagonally and situate the projector from the corner of the room.
The Epson has the option of connecting through wifi to a computer, an iPad, iPhone or Android device, in order to make presentations.
Both projectors have 2 HDMI inputs and they are true 3D: we can use them to project in 3D and 2D with spectacular results. If you are not sure which option is best for you, ask us! We are here to help you at ProjectorsOK.co.uk
